Long Length Framed HaircutLong Length Layered Face Framed Haircut Picture.  The ends of this haircut were point cut, meaning the ends are not cut straight across,  rather they are cut on an angle into the ends of the hair leaving many symmetrical point at the ends.  Think of how a pair of pinking shears work…They leave many symmetrical points at the ends instead of just a straight blunt line.  A piecey face framed fringe was added to the sides from the bang area down to the ends.  A light fringe-bang softens up the front and adds texture to this long length haircut.

TO STYLE:  Add a root boosting serum to damp hair prior to blow-drying.  Blow-dry hair randomly til roughly 80% dry.  Then section off the hair and start blow-drying at the back using a medium to large round brush.  Blow-dry the back turning the hair under or flip it up, whichever you prefer.   Blow-dry sides and bang area by turning hair under and towards your face.   Apply a shine serum to smooth and add shine.  Use a pomade or a wax around face and bang to give the haircut a piecey look.  Finish with a light hold hairspray.  With a little practice using a round brush and blow-dryer,  this long hairstyle is fairly easy to maintain, but does require a little extra styling time.

STYLING TIP: Use a metal-barrel round brush and make sure your blow-dryer has heat setting options.  Start using round brush when hair is roughly 80% dry, this saves on tangles.  With your hair around the round brush all the way up to your scalp, use the “hot” setting to heat up the metal in the brush for 10 seconds, then use the “cool” option for 20 seconds to cool the hair down and set the curl.  You may have to do this several times on one section of hair, depending on how quickly your hair dries.   Having the right tools is essential when trying to achieve a great hairstyle.
